I specialize in teaching a range of ages and can tailor the content and speed to your skills.

I love meeting people where they are at and see the inspiration light them up.

Tote Bag Workshop


In this 1 day, 2 person tote bag workshop, you will come away with your very own handmade tote bag in water buffalo leather.

You will learn how to cut, punch, rivet and sew leather using a variety of techniques. No experience necessary, although it is always an asset.

$325, materials included.

Sewing Machine 101

Debunk your sewing machine!

Bring your machine and you’ll learn all about it, troubleshooting, repairs, and how to get yourself out of a jam. It will make sewing at home so much more fun!

This is a 3hr workshop, and if you have a sewing machine, please bring it! If you don’t, I do have ones to use.

$120, materials included.

Axe Sheath Workshop

Make your own chisel roll or axe sheath for your tools!

Design, modify, cut, sew by hand or machine, rivet & snap

You’ll have a one of a kind piece that protects your tools!

Belt Workshop

Starting at a full hide, you’ll learn how to turn it into a finished, classy belt.

A variety of belt buckles to choose from.

This workshop is 4hrs.

Leather working Basics

This workshop is 6hrs long, and in it, you will find yourself immersed in the potential of leather. You’ll learn how to cut, sew, rivet and manipulate leather to become a keychain, a pouch and bracelet.

You’ll develop skills to take on larger projects confidently.

$250, materials included.

Custom Project

Bring an idea of something you would like to make, and we will make it! Learn about pattern drafting, material selection, layout, cutting and actualizing your design! Riveting, sewing by hand or machine, cutting, bevelling, burnishing and using the snap press are all skills which could be developed in this project. Let me know before the class what you plan on making, and we will work from there. Sky is the limit! Past projects include bike bags, aprons, bags, and camping gear!

A wide range of materials will be available to purchase. This can be done individually or with a friend.

$45/hr materials to be negotiated.

Leather Working in Elementary Schools

Workshop programming and pricing available for grades 4-12, for one day or multiple days.

Projects for Kids!

Learn to work with leather and make small accessories such as key chains, necklaces and small pouches. Perfect for kids! An adult is included for no charge with a parent, friend or guardian.

Introduction to leather working through small projects including key fob, cuff and wallet. Riveting, burnishing and sewing techniques will be used on vegetable tanned and reclaimed leather. Introductory project, no experience necessary.

We will arrange a time which works with your schedule. Projects will be tailored to the interests of the kids. If you have a special project in mind, please message in advance.
